Chocolatier
Chocolatier will assist in all aspects of production of our handcrafted chocolates and candy. Production includes a wide array of Chocolates from Barks and Clusters to Truffles to Chocolate Covered Pretzels and Specialty Confections and Baked Goods like our Homemade Marshmallows and Brownies. Position is mainly kitchen based but there may be customer interaction as well. Other responsibilities may include; packaging, register, cleaning, inventory etc...
Ideal Candidate Experience
Has 2+ years commercial kitchen experience (although we are willing to train the right person)
Might have a culinary degree or are in culinary school, not necessarily specific to pastry/chocolate
Are familiar with basic kitchen terms; including equipment, dishes, and measurement tools
Can follow a recipe correctly and with enthusiasm
Flexible schedule of days but must be available in AMs
Are willing to learn and respect laws of Kashrut (Our shop is certified Kosher...you do NOT need to keep Kosher to work here!)
Have a positive and hardworking attitude
Have fun + creative ideas to offer
Offers precision + attention to details
Is safety conscious
Has fine motor skills/dexterity
Good communication skills
Honest
