PT Chocolatier, Narberth
A creative and fun chocolate and confection shop, we produce anything from candy bars to truffles to marshmallows to brownies and cakes. Position is mainly kitchen based but there will be customer interaction as well. Other responsibilities may include; packaging, register, cleaning, inventory etc...
Who are you?
Has 2+ years commercial kitchen experience (although we are willing to train the right person)
Might have a culinary degree or are in culinary school, not necessarily specific to pastry/chocolate
Are familiar with basic kitchen terms; including equipment, dishes, and measurement tools
Can follow a recipe correctly and with enthusiasm
Flexible schedule but must be available in AMs
Are willing to learn and respect laws of Kashrut (Our shop is certified Kosher...you do NOT need to keep Kosher to work here!)
Want to work for a growing company

PT Manager, Lafayette Hill
The Sweet Trading Company , a locally owned, handcrafted chocolate, candy and confections shop, is seeking a PT Retail Store manager for our Lafayette Hill location.
We specialize in handcrafted Belgian chocolates, confections, baked goods and candy. We are looking for a dedicated and creative individual to join our team. The perfect candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to jump in, move fast and work hard. This position is a PT manager with room for growth. Approximately 25-30 hours per week, serving as the team leader for the store.

Candidate Experience
3+ years of experience retail management (Food-industry retail experience preferred).

Strong organizational management and conflict resolution skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and available to work Weekends and holidays when necessary.

Past experience with inventory management, cash management, and other operational tasks.
Proven proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of products and Social Media management. (Experience with graphic design principles/editing software preferred).

Ensure each patron receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment, deep product knowledge, and honest advice. Build lasting relationships with our customers. Go above and beyond to provide the highest level of service
Present a well-stocked, clean, and beautifully presented sales floor. Present our product in appealing, selling ways. Create attractive gift baskets and packages for sale and custom order.
Operations: Manage inventory and expenses, oversee staff, approve timesheets and manage scheduling, order supplies from vendors, and coordinate deliveries from the main store
Create and direct special in-store events, promotions, and manage community engagements
Be detail-oriented, noticing and taking action on items that are not operating under optimal conditions. Present ideas and options for maintaining a high level of excellence in the store.
Ensure strong and regular communication with main office, including operations updates, marketing needs, visual merchandising requests, customer service issues, and promotions. Everyone works together to share learnings, celebrate successes, troubleshoot problems, and drive the company to become that much better each day.

Do you enjoy working with children and have a creative nature and interest in food? Our Birthday Party Supervisors run our unique and fun Birthday Party Experiences for groups of 10-20 children.
Who are you?
2+ years of experience working in a classroom/camp environment
Love all things crafting and baking and sharing that love with our birthday party attendees

We are looking to hire a PT early morning baker. Position will be 2-3 days per week, approximately 3 hours per morning. Flexible start/end times before 9am. Perfect for an experienced baker with flexible schedule.
